Good Snow.

At least that's what my husband says about the snow in Japan. He is back to his world traveling ways~ He spent this past weekend skiing in Nagano {home of the 1998 Winter Olympic Games}. How cool is that!? Another cool thing about this place is there are wild snow monkeys wandering around. Jason spotted one while traveling to the slopes.

Seems like a very beautiful place. I'll have to post some pics of my dare-devil husband next week once he returns.

I'm attempting to surprise him by finishing up some painting at home (the main portion of our bathroom). What a wonderful idea in theory, but seriously one of the worst jobs. I now loathe tall ceilings. ;) I am in some serious pain today...can barely lift my arms! If too much time passes I tend to forget that painting really is MANUAL labor. Yikes.

Back to the snow topic :: Jason and I head to Colorado a week from Friday! I can't wait. We get to see some friends while we're there and it will be a nice little getaway between all of the Japan travel. Sad we have to travel so far to even catch a glimpse of the white stuff. FYI: The Denver area has seen 50 inches of snow in one month. Can you even IMAGINE?! I'm still holding on to some hope that Tennessee will see snow this season. Afterall, how can it really be winter without at least a dusting? Don't worry, not holding my breath!
