Goodness, it is COLD.

Brrrr. My southern roots don't seem to be handling this cold weather too well. It is freezing cold every single day. When will the madness end?! I'm used to the topsy-turvy Tennessee weather not week after week of near freezing temps. C'mon SPRING.

Jason is on his 3rd trip to Japan in the last 3 months, so I've been trying to stay busy. And obviously, updating the blog has been on the back burner. Our trip to Colorado was lots of fun. We played in actual snow (and more than a couple of lousy TN inches worth)!! Jason could ski everyday if we lived near a mountain. Thankfully, we don't. I love to ski, but a few hours a day for a few days is good for me. Cold doesn't even begin to describe the temps in Colorado. I think all of the pretty snow must make enduring minus temperatures worth it. :) It was a very nice mini-vacation.

Now my thoughts will be on a beach trip. Ahh, to be laying on a beach in the warm sun...

We've hit a bump in the road of house building. I got a lovely phone call last week and learned that our house does not fit on the lot we've chosen. Strange to just now be finding this out since we signed a contract about 4 months ago!! Just a small issue, don't you think? Not exactly the news I was looking for, but hopefully this can be resolved soon and we can move forward. Stay tuned...

I'm off to Memphis for my first visit since Christmas. Should be fun! Happy weekend~
