Good Try.

How does Pottery Barn do it? They fill our minds with very lovely ideas and pictures of how beautiful a home can look. It's evil and genius-really. An example~

See how neat those picture frames look on that wall? Well, I had very high hopes for a similar look above my bed. Sunday afternoon I gave it a try. I tried very, very hard to get those frames lined up and looking ever so PB. I have {or possibly now- had} a strong affection for the PB look. Choosing to prove to Jason that I can accomplish big house projects while he is away is quickly starting to wear thin...let's think painting a bathroom with a very high ceiling, shall we? Many hours, pencil marks and nail holes later and all five of my gallery picture frames were hanging on the wall. They aren't exactly perfect, but I'm just happy I didn't end up throwing the hammer out the window! ;) I'll post a picture soon. Now I just have to decide what pictures to put in them.

Jason gets back in two and a half weeks. The countdown is on~ This has been such a long trip. I've definitely had enough alone time to last me a looong while. It's just not the same without Jason around. I'm really ready for our international adventures in June...time to start planning.
