Good to be Back.

Back from the beach, a work trip to Boston, and back to blogging. It's so crazy how many times I think I'll be a regular blogger and then in a flash we have a new month in front of us. I do have good intentions though...time just escapes me. ;)

It's been several weeks since my last visit and I cannot wait to see her again next weekend! This time the girls are coming up to Nashville. October is going to be one busy month. Our cousin is getting married and we are all in the wedding. :) It's going to be so much fun! Looks like the weather might finally cool off some before then. I'm ready to get my mums and pumpkins. I'm getting them tomorrow even though it will be 90 degrees (in OCTOBER for goodness sakes)!

It was really nice to take a quick vacation to the beach a couple of weeks ago. It went by way too fast! I can't say that I highly recommend going to the gulf coast in September...mainly due to the biting flies that come in late August/early September and hang out for a month. Not so much fun to lay out on the beach being annoyed every other second by a fly. It was still beautiful and relaxing none the less. :) We stayed in Inlet Beach, very close to this lovely little beach town and also not far from Seaside.

Beantown was both good and bad. The working part was extremely boring (as expected), but the weather was perfect! I can see how so many people love that city, but I don't think I could handle the freezing winters and traffic! ;) I was hoping to see some colorful leaves, but everything was still green. I guess mother nature needs a little longer.
