Our vacation was amazing. Besides having to dodge hurricanes, mid-September was a perfect time to be in Florida. No crowds whatsoever, no long waits at restaurants and lovely weather. It was such a good week that leaving was tough. Not to mention that if I had the 3.5 million to buy that gorgeous home we would already be moved in (yep, it's for sale and so very moderately priced)!! ;) It is nice to be home and get back into some kind of routine.
Kennedy is smiling and laughing more each day and really is sleeping well. I think we got lucky! We had her 2-month checkup last Monday...the shots were sooo awful. I shed some tears myself. Glad we have a while before doing that again. Although I highly doubt that will be long enough for me to recover. ;)
This is a busy week...Wednesday I meet with my boss to discuss my return to work and flexible schedule - wish me luck!! Then I have a dentist and hair appointment on Thursday and Friday. Whew. Saturday I'm going to brave the drive to Memphis on my own with the sweet pea. Hopefully I can time things well for Kennedy. I'm trying to make the most of my last few weeks of freedom.
