Good Conversations.

And it's now mid-October...how did this happen? Fall has finally arrived too (thank you mother nature - the heat was really starting to get on my nerves)! October is starting to be my favorite month. :) I do have to go back to work in a little over a week and I definitely have mixed feelings about it, but that doesn't weigh in too much with my love for October. The conversation with my boss went very well. I am extremely lucky to be able to work a very flexible schedule when I start back at the end of this month. I'll be in the office between 4-5 hours each Monday/Wednesday/Friday and will work from home the rest of the time including Tuesday/Thursday. Yay! I'm feeling somewhat anxious not knowing how things will go trying to get real work done while Kennedy is right beside me, but after some organizing I'm hoping things go well.

Kennedy has become quite the chatty little baby (she also seems to spit quite a bit too). ;) She wanted to say hello to all of her friends this morning so I took advantage and here is a little clip for your viewing pleasure (still trying to get this to work...check back soon or click on Chatty Kennedy link below).

I survivied my first official photoshoot ever (thanks to Barbi for trusting me to do this)! My subjects were very easy on me. I was pleased overall, but feel I had much more in my head that just didn't make it into the camera. It's hard to think so fast while taking photos. I'll get better - just need more practice. Here are a several of my favorites:

Kennedy and I traveled to Memphis by ourselves a couple of weekends ago. She did great. The carseat still isn't her favorite place to be, but she's a little trooper now and tries to stay entertained. She slept the entire way back! That made it so much less stressful for Mommy. :) It's definitely easier to travel when I can just sit in the backseat with her, but now I know I can do it. We went to a birthday party and enjoyed hanging out with friends all weekend.

Last weekend we attempted the pumpkin patch, but it was naptime and we had a scowl-faced little one in most of the pictures. Since the weather is so nice now, we'll be joining Lizzie, Everett and Graycin on a second attempt this Saturday. Hoping for some better photos.

I can't believe Halloween is just around the corner! I'm definitely excited to dress up Kennedy. :) She'll be berry cute...just you wait and see!

And some new pics of the growing bambino. Until next time~

You did an amazing job - love them! And I just love the one of you two at the pumpkin patch - your shirt matches that awesome truck! How gorgeous! I can't believe she hasn't lost one little gorgeous hair on that head... tell her to hang on to them & I'll be there soon! :)

Ooooh I love it! I can't wait to see you tomorrow with our pumpkins at the patch. Your photos are terrific! Do you need another test subject? Possibly a boy this time?
