A Good Repeat.

Somehow almost a month has gone by. This time I know where the time has gone. Most of you already know the big news, but in case you missed it - I'm pregnant again - 12 weeks already! Yikes! This surprise news really freaked me out at first. I'll have two babies 20 months apart...something I never really expected. Things are definitely going to be crazy for some time, but having them so close will have it's advantages too. Hopefully they will grow up to become great friends and really enjoy their closeness.

I've been feeling not-so-great again, so it's taken me a while to get myself into the swing of things again. Not quite as sick as I was with Kennedy but definitely had some pretty yucky days. Thankfully those days should be moving on anytime now! :)

We will definitely be finding out the gender - can't wait for that! I'm still not in planning mode at all...probably won't be until we find out this news. Kennedy keeps us plenty busy right now! She's just started taking a few steps by herself so life is about to get even wilder. She's learned to say "no" and her little voice when she says it is too cute. It's a very direct - no. Kennedy has moved up to the toddler room at school and is having some trouble adjusting. She loved her infant room teacher and never once had a single tear all last year or this summer. She gets so upset when I leave her now. It's heart-wrenching, but I know she's fine a minute or so after I leave. Hopefully as she gets used to the new room/routine she will be happy about school. Her teachers are wonderful so I know she'll be running to them soon enough. :)

Catching up on pictures if proving to be pretty difficult these days. Have I even posted vacation pics from June?? Jason and I just got back from a wedding in Maine. The weather was on the chilly side, but I loved it!! C'mon Fall! I'm very over the hot, nasty weather. Had my first pumpkin spice latte a week or so ago. Thank you Courtney for telling me the day they came out. It was delicious. I've had my fair share of pumpkin loaf too. YUM.

Ok, so finally some birthday pics! Both parties were lots of fun and now our house is filled with even more toys! My sweet baby is 14 months today. Goodness she's getting so big. This thought makes me happy that a tiny baby will be back in our house soon. :)

How exciting! Congratulations! I love Kennedy's bday pics, she is such a cutie. We love Maine, too. That's where we want to retire a 100 years from now!
Congrats again!

I've been patiently awaiting this post. I'm so happy for you and don't worry, we will survive the second baby thing together. Perhaps Everett and Kennedy can entertain one another while we do the newborn dance. xoxo
