This is what we are striving for... so far Kennedy is doing well so this means I have staying sane (for the most part)! ;) I've had my moments of mental anguish - mainly when little K just wants to be held all day and won't go down to sleep and when I haven't been able to shower. I will NEVER, ever take being clean and showering for granted! :) It is a gift from God when you have small children. I know plenty of you out there who completely understand.
I ventured out by myself with baby the other day - just a quick trip to Toys-R-Us to look for a bithday gift for Miss Kylie. I cannot believe she turns one next week. Boo, it just goes too fast! I felt very accomplished being out on my own and need to attempt it more often. I've seen more of my house than I've ever wanted to in the last month.
Last weekend I helped host a baby shower for Courtney and little Lizzie. It was very fun to see lots of friends and watch Courtney get very adorable things for her sweet baby girl. Pictures to come soon. This weekend we are celebrating my cousin's big 3-0 (thank goodness some other family members are catching up)! We will also be going out to dinner for an early anniversary dinner. It will be the first time Jason and I have been out since Kennedy's arrival and I can't wait to have him to myself. :) We definitely need some adult time. Jason's parents are coming back in to visit and babysit. Love that they are always willing!
Here are some of my latest favorties~ how quickly they go from tiny newborn to full-fledged infant! Miss K celebrates one month tomorrow so I will do my very best to have a birthday blog. :)

Yay for birthdays & anniversaries & venturing out alone! Glad you are getting to join the land of the living... it feels great, doesn't it?! :)
Kim, she is just so pretty, she has a little tan it looks like too! I got caught off guard of the one with Kylie, like, "Why is Kennedy in the grass!?" Oh, that's not her! I need a nap or something! :)
Girl, you were/are a Memphian, its Elvis Death Week and I was just around Graceland, maybe that's what's wrong with me!
