Just checking in for a minute. We welcomed sweet little Allie Grace to our family yesterday, March 20th, at 8:15 am. She weighed 7 lbs, 5 oz and was 18 inches long. Only 1 oz and 1 inch smaller that little K! The c-section really freaked me out this time, but all went very smoothly and quick so that was a big relief. I felt much more alert and aware of what was happening so I was very, very glad to have that part over and done with.
Allie doesn't have as much hair as Kennedy did and it's quite a bit lighter. Still trying to decide how much she looks like K...definitely has some similarities but also some differences. See for yourselves...
I still can't believe I'm the mommy of two precious baby girls! Definitely some wonderful and fun times ahead of us. :) So far Kennedy is just too busy to really give Allie much time, but I can't wait to get home and see what the true dynamic is like.

Congratulations! I know what you mean about the c-section the second time around. The first time, I just wanted it over with after HOURS of laboring and nothing happening...the second time it was just all matter of fact and full-awareness! I'm glad everything went well.
She is gorgeous...I'm so happy for y'all!
